ABOUT RANBIMA MICRO CREDIT
RANBIMA finance company was established in 2015 in Sri Lanka as a funder to small scale entrepreneurs who need financial assistance to launch a business or to expand or diversify their current businesses. In the inception we recruited fifty members and by now it has increased up to more than 10000 members. In addition to the monetary assistance we are capable of providing professional assistance and services making use of our well qualified and experienced professional staff. We render a round the clock service to our valuable customers.
As one of the leading microfinance companies in the country we have the strength of providing a professional service to our client at any time and that is the secret behind for our great achievement of having 7000 clientele in a short time span of two years. It is our pleasure to see the success of our members.
Our mission is to provide assistance to the low income earners and eradicate the poverty entirely from our country and on the top of that we have allocated a substantial share of our profit for social development activities and charities. As such we donate regularly school books and other stationeries to poor children and also we do contribute various kinds of donations to temples and other religious places.

Mr. Rangana Rathnayake
A Managing Director by profession, Mr Rathnayake holds over 15 years post- qualification experience in Microfinance, SME, Training, Lecturing, and Planning. He holds a Diploma in Microfinance and SME, in addition to multiple professional qualifications in the field of microfinance through working as an executive, the manager(branch), the manager(recovery), the manager(operations), in seylinco Grameen pvt.ltd and commercial credit and finance plc. He is currently the Chairman of Ranbima Micro Credit (Pvt) Ltd and Ranbima Capital Holdings (Pvt) Ltd. Mr Rathnayake is also a board director of above companies.
Speaking on behalf of all the directors, Mr. Rathnayake said that he was happy and proud that providing a quality financial service to society. “ When we caring our microfinance, business, leasing and personal financial services to village to village and to door to door, I consider it a great honor that I identify well fluctuations of present market with my over fifteen year experience of domestic as well as foreign fields of microfinance.

Mr. Bandula Thennakoon

Mr Thennakoon started his career in Sri Lanka, where he worked for a Ceylinco Grameen Credit firm in field Manager services for five years. He joined Commercial credit and was promoted to manager three years with the firm after two years working as a field executive He also worked as an Aliance Finance Company for 1.5 years as a manager and assist clients with day to day financial necessities with their small business.
Being accessible to clients is a priority for Mr Thennakoon . He has a hands-on approach to understanding their needs and a genuine interest in finding practical solutions to their problems. This approach has built trust and led to many long-term relationships with clients over his 13-year career.
Mr Thennakoon is actively involved with the Ranbima Finance since 2016.
